Awards – everyone loves to win them, no one loves to write them. Except us.
Good award submissions tell a story. They may lack some key story elements (no love interest, no evil baddie to overcome, no sinking ocean liner) – but to their industry insiders, judges and peers, a good submission demonstrates how, despite all the odds, you managed to deliver an outstanding outcome.
One of the challenges in preparing award winning award submissions, is that to the people involved in a project, they were ‘just doing their job’.
The skill in writing award submissions is to find a way to get these humble, shy and retiring clients to talk. Often, it’s the small things that to the client might seem to be all in a day’s work that are the nugget of gold that we can build our story around.
We have ways of making our clients talk. We have to, because we refuse to allow our clients’ great work to fly under the radar.
No matter how technical the project, we always rise to the challenge, creating engaging award submissions that address the selection criteria and stand out from the crowd.
